How the world can change.

I hear a lot about the world undergoing some transformation of consciousness where people are becoming more spiritually enlightened than at any time. Whether that is true or not I cannot say. I do know the bookshelves seem to be littered with more spiritual and self-help books than at any time I can remember. The simple reality is that the consciousness of the world can change but it has to be done one individual at a time.

Have you ever asked yourself why, with all of our scientific knowledge and supposed understanding, our primary activity on the planet is tribal warfare? If the group consciousness were really radically changed then this would not be allowed to take place. George Bush exists as a thought construct backed up by the thought construct of millions of people behind him. It is a certain set of beliefs held by many that allow a George Bush to exist. If the thought patterns of individuals had not been constructed in a certain way he would have no power. This thought pattern has no objective reality and it holds no truth. It is a group consciousness that lacks compassion, understanding and the ability to see things as they really are. It is madness just like all other thought constructs are. It is a way of separating the world into us vs. them. Good and bad. Black and white. It is an overly simplistic view of the human condition and does not conform to reality.

To change the world millions of people have to wake up and throw away their religious books and start seeing reality. When I say see reality I mean what you see before your mind separates experience into this and that. Before your mind labels or throws the religious spin of your upbringing on what you are seeing. There is no fundamental religious person alive that has any sort of awakening because all of their knowledge comes from a book or a pulpit. We all have to start seeing in a new way. This is the true way to freedom. If all of your thoughts about the world come from a book or a preacher you are just a computer program. You have no true freedom. You are only thinking like you have been told to think and separate reality into something that doesn't exist. If you really want to see just look right here right now. It is already in front of your face.
